Electroencephalogram (EEG) is one of the useful tools to measure programmer's state for effective support in proper moment. The purpose of this study is to investigate effectiveness of EEG as an index for classification of programmers who fail to find an implementation strategy. We select three major metrics for EEG measurement; alpha wave, beta wave, and their ratio. Then we experimentally analyze the differences between two conditions; 1) find a strategy, and 2) do not. The result of the experiment shows that the power of alpha wave and alpha-beta ratio are increased when participants found the implementation strategy. |
